Cornish pasties: the new champagne.

We’ve arrived a little late to the party (surely pasty. Ed.)  with this one, but as a founding member of the Cornish Pasty Association, here at Crantock Bakery we’re really proud to post a short film which will support the CPA’s application for Protected Geographical Indication, or PGI status as it’s sometimes called.

Achieving this status would put the pasty up there in its rightful place with Parma Ham and Champagne (now there’s a novel pasty filling I may have to try out) and mean that only pasties which originate from the county are worthy of the name. Now wouldn’t that be lovely?
