Pasty Now and Then
Our own heritage goes back just thirty years but Cornish wives have been making pasties for centuries. To what has become a traditional style and recipe. Although we think ours is slightly better than the rest of course. Cornish pasties are like no other. That’s why this year Crantock’s amongst an elite few of pasty makers were awarded the European mark called a PGI.
So it’s really special to us that this is the year our pasty was voted ‘The best in Britain’
But we do more that the traditional pasty, we have Halal and vegetarian and many different recipes and ingredients.
Yet we strive to develop and evolve with the pasty in terms of lighter pastry and in new easy to eat products all made with the same commitment to good food.
