Each and every one of our pasties is made in the same way as when we started. Crafted by hand to a traditional recipe using local ingredients. Of course, now we make them for lots more people. We make sure the highest professional hygiene and production processes to ensure we always offer a perfect product. Although we now have a very large facility with every modern aid our aim is to constantly maintain the standards of Crantock’s for hand made products of the highest quality. ‘It’s like a giant kitchen’ one of our visitors recently said.
Of course the standards of today mean that quality and operations are closely monitored and measured. We subscribe to the highest levels and are BRC grade A certified and are committed to keeping it that way.
In fact we are proud to say that we won the coveted national Best British Bakery Manufacturer in 2008.
As we have grown more and more customers have asked us to make an ever wider range of pies, scones and sausage rolls and our very latest ‘open-topped’ pies. Everything is carefully crafted in the same way as in everything we do… because that’s the Crantock’s way.
